Prayer for Vision

Heavenly Father,

You are an amazing and loving God - Full of Peace and Grace beyond comprehension. We know you have called us into the work of your Kingdom in this city and you call us to fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen so that we would know that work of your kingdom. Forgive us for losing focus. You are the God who restores sight and gives vision. So we ask that you no longer let us be blinded by the temporary things that barrage us daily. Refocus our vision so we see the eternal work that you are doing. We come like the blind beggars came before Jesus Christ and we cry out to you for our sight – our eternal sight. Give us a glimpse of what You see, Father, so that our Faith might be bolstered. We want to see with your vision and to see what you see when you look at Miami - this broken hurting city. Let us see You at work here for your kingdom. We asked this in the powerful and the victorious name of Jesus Christ.
