Prayer for Miami

Father,

You have placed us here in Miami at this time. This is a city you have created as a beacon to the world. The global influence you have given to this city is evident. Convict us, Lord, to your work here in this city and through this city. Open our ears. Clear our minds from distraction. Awaken our hearts to your Spirit within us. Make us aware of why you have us here right now. Use your church in Miami, Father. Unite us as a body in the power of your spirit as we pray together for this city and your influence in the community here. Prepare us and strengthen us as we run the race you have set before us. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you here in this place and to be a part of what you are doing here in Miami. Let us be obedient to your Spirit as you draw us together in ways we wouldn't imagine. Make us one in your will and plan for the community you have created here in Miami.
