Prayer for Boston (and Miami)

Father,We consider the tragedy that happened yesterday in Boston.  We think of the fear and pain and loss that is being suffered in the wake of that event.  Please cover the families in Boston (and elsewhere) who were affected with Your hand so that they would experience unexplainable peace in the midst of their grief and that as healing comes they would find in You a new kind of wholeness.  Even though this appears to be an act of hatred and terror, Father, we pray that somehow your Goodness will emerge in the lives of the people most immediately affected.  Father, we also take the opportunity pray for your hand of protection over Miami.  Prosper this city and keep it from harm.  And Father in a world where acts of hatred have such a profound impact on us please make your Church in Miami constantly aware of the moments where we can act in act in your Love.Amen and Amen
