Forgiveness and Healing

Father you tell us in 2Chronicles7:14 "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land". Father we want to claim this prayer in the mighty name of your son Jesus Christ. We ask God that you heal our city. It is a city filled with prejudice, materialism, corruption -- a city filled with Idolatry. I pray not because the city is filled with righteousness but rather as Abraham pleaded in Genesis 18 we ask that you preserve the city for the sake of the few. You know the international attention that this city receives so I pray that one day Miami may be that city on a hill letting its light shine to the rest of the world. I pray for the unification of believers. I pray for the day when this city is crying out for you and men are asking what they must do to be saved. I pray in all things you would be glorified. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
