Protection over the Protectors

Father, cover those men and women whom you have placed in leadership over this city. Give them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions that will guide the future of Miami. Protect the men and women who serve to protect the citizens of Miami. Comfort them as they mourn the loss of one of their own. Bind up those who would seek to kill and destroy. Give us wisdom as we join together in prayer for this city. Lay on our hearts a conviction to fortify this city with prayer. Join us together as the body of Christ across this city as we lift up Miami to you. Amen.
