Embrace the Children

Father,
Protect the children of Miami. Place your hand over the next generation. Guard them from anyone who would seek to harm them. Surround them with people who will pour out your love over them. Give hope to the hopeless and love to the fatherless. Convict the hearts of the Christ followers in this city that they would allow themselves to be your hands and arms to embrace the children of this city. Provide for the poor; give them their daily bread. Protect the wealthy; lead them away from temptation and into a relationship with you. That you would be glorified for generations in this city.
